Emily Bay Swimming Mobility Program

This morning at half tide a group of  NIHRACS staff and volunteers, supported by Christian Bailey’s agency trialled some new beach mobility equipment for the first time at the beach. The goal of this program, once it is up an running, is to provide access to the water at Emily Bay for people with mobility disabilities. We still have a long way to go before the program will be up and running but we are excited that the first trial of the equipment was successful. Thanks to everyone involved and to those who came along to watch us working it out!!
