Norfolk Island Community Health Promotion Plan 2025-27

The Norfolk Island Community Health Promotion Plan (NICHPP) supports a coordinated, evidence-based approach to improving community health and wellbeing. It aligns with all five action areas of the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion and uses a flexible mix of strategies tailored to local needs. Programs are based on proven Australian and international initiatives and adapted to reflect Norfolk Island’s unique culture and community. The plan has been developed in partnership with the community, the Health and Wellbeing Advisory Sub-Committee and NIHRACS, and aligns with the Brisbane North Primary Health Network’s Health Needs Assessment, NIHRACS Strategic Plan and Community Engagement Framework.
