Norfolk Island GP Clinic is committed to delivering comprehensive, coordinated primary healthcare services that promote health and wellbeing, prevent illness, and support the ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions.

We encourage patients to contact the clinic to book an appointment so we can ensure timely access to care and appropriate triage where required.

Walk In

The GP Clinic operates on an appointment basis. Walk-ins are accepted, however there may be an unavoidable wait as priority is given to patients who have a booked appointment with their Doctor. All patients should present to reception with their current Medicare Card. At times you may experience a waiting period due to doctors tending to urgent or complex medical issues. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Our GP clinic is fully bulk billed for Medicare card holders. When attending the GP clinic please ensure you have your Medicare, Pensioner and/or Healthcare cards with you.

There are 4 General Practitioners, a GP Practice Nurse, a Chronic Disease Nurse, a GP Practice Manager and Administration Officers.

The GP clinic is open between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, please call 24134 to make an appointment.

Health History Update Questionnaires

When you visit the GP Clinic you may be asked to complete a New Patient/Health History Update Form.  These will maintain accurate information on your medical record and therefore assist with your consultation.  Please arrive for your appointment 5 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time to complete the questionnaire. We thank you for your assistance in this important task.

Booking an Appointment

Our standard consultation time with a Doctor is 15 minutes and is appropriate when only one problem needs to be addressed. If you feel more time with the Doctor is required, please inform the receptionist upon booking

Pap Smears, Skin Checks, Mental Health Care Plans, Surgical Procedures, and Medicals will require an extended appointment, you should inform the receptionist upon booking.

If you are unable to attend an appointment, please notify the practice as soon as possible. 

Please inform reception staff if your matter is urgent.

We are trained to triage your healthcare needs and to accommodate you in the safest way possible.

All new patients are required to fill in a new patient registration form. Please bring this to your appointment.
