An Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) is available to provide services to inpatients, residents of the aged care facility as well as the Community.
One Dietetic clinic is provided each week. To see the Dietitian you will need to see your GP first to get a referral. Call the GP Clinic on 24134 to make an appointment.
A dietitian can help you manage health conditions, including:
· diabetes
· eating disorders
· food allergies and intolerances
· gastrointestinal diseases
· heart disease
· malnutrition

· kidney disease
They can also help you manage your wellbeing at different stages of life, such as infant feeding, pregnancy, menopause and ageing.
Dietitians understand how nutrition affects the body and use this knowledge when helping you. Using the latest scientific information, dietitians partner with you to develop a personal plan to meet your needs.
