International Women’s Day is held in March each year with this year’s theme being “Cracking the Food Code”.
International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women, who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.
WAGNI, working with the Health and Wellbeing team, will be holding a breakfast on Tuesday 28th March. Dr Helen Vidgen will be coming over as the key note speaker. For more information please see the advert in this week’s paper or contact Eve Semple 54996 or Dale Howe 56025.
