Care Norfolk will be providing information about their aged care and NDIS support services and how to access these services.
Metro North Hospital & Health Service
Metro North Health is the largest Hospital and Health Service in Australia and a recognised leader in the provision and delivery of work class healthcare. We provide the full range of health services including, rural, regional and tertiary teaching hospitals and cover an area of more than 4000 square kilometres from north of the Brisbane River to north of Kilcoy.
Metro North Health provides services to patients throughout Queensland, northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory, incorporating all major health specialities including medicine, surgery, psychiatry, oncology, women’s and newborns, trauma and more than 30 sub-specialities. Comprehensive and diverse health services are delivered from the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, The Prince Charles Hospital, Redcliffe, Caboolture and Kilcoy Hospitals and the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service. Mental Health, Community and Oral Health Services are provided from many sites and we have a dedicated Public Health Unit.
Metro North Health is pleased to be supporting the Norfolk Island Health and Residential Aged Care Service and the broader Norfolk Island Community as a health support partner as part of a formal Intergovernmental Agreement between the Commonwealth Government and the Queensland Government.
Presentations
Presentations will be held on Tuesday 22 August & Thursday 24 August from 5.30pm at the Supper Room (adjoining Rawson Hall). Our presenters this year will be Dale Howe, Siebren De Boer, Dementia Support Australia, Dr Jodie McCoy, Metro North Hospital & Health Service & NDIS.
